Karen knows this area well. She successfully sells homes all over
Northern Virginia. After Karen carefully evaluates each client's housing
needs, she will show homes and neighborhoods throughout the area. Karen and her
team search until they narrow down the areas you like - and eventually find the
place that "feels like home" for you!
Northern Virginia
The term "Northern Virginia" is a loosely knit description of the
area in the northern most part of Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C.
This diverse area houses people with connections to the corporate, military and
political ways of life. The newest description of the area is "Silicone Valley
East" which, of course, refers to the huge growth of the information technology
sector. This prosperous part of Virginia is attractive to people from all over
the country - and all over the world.
Fairfax County
Formed in 1742, Fairfax County is rich in colonial and Civil war
historic sites. Lying just outside of Washington, D.C., Fairfax County is
one of the most affluent counties in the United States. Its public schools also
rank among the top in the nation. The information technology industry is making
a huge impact on the growth of Fairfax County. The proximity to Washington,
D.C. makes it a natural choice for those who commute to work locations in the
nation's capital.
Loundoun County
This genteel area is known for its lush rolling equestrian estates
and many historical sites. Information technology is making an enormous
impact on Loudoun County with the growth of new Internet and technology
companies. The draw of these companies is creating large increases in
population and housing, in this once rural area. Loudoun is now one of the
fastest growing counties in the U.S.
Prince William
County
This popular area is now "coming into it's own" as the population
growth surges west of Washington, D.C. Driving through the county will affirm
it's many historical sites dating back to Civil War times. However, now you
will see a blend of new housing sections with the old, as suburban development
moves to the area.
Great
Neighborhoods
These neighborhoods are just a sampling of the many wonderful
communities in Northern Virginia. Karen and her Team routinely sell homes
throughout vast and diverse areas from Alexandria to Gainesville, Springfield
to Leesburg . . . and all stops in between! They search ALL of Northern
Virginia to find the areas, the neighborhoods, and the houses that are the most
meaningful in terms of their Buyer's needs.
Karen researches neighborhoods differently than most Realtors.
She believes it's extremely important for her Clients to have a real
"comfort level" about the neighborhood they choose to live in. For that reason,
she and her Team like to show Buyers a sampling of homes in many neighborhoods
within their desired price range. After the Buyers visit a number of different
areas, it soon becomes evident where they "feel like home". Once that happens,
Karen begins to concentrate on showing them homes in the one or two
neighborhoods that really feel the best to them.
Please don't hesitate to call Karen at 703-222-1213 or email
her with your housing requirements & dreams - she'll work hard to find the
neighborhood, and the home, that's just right for you!

I am absolutely sure I
knew it even then. I knew it the way . . . when you see a particular house on a
particular landscape you think: Yes, that is for me, I am going to live there.
